However, attempts to configure this will fail for various reasons. Here\u2019s a quick guide on how to do it:<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Netscaler SIP must be able to communicate with the StoreFront server (ports 80\/443), which is not possible in a restrictive environment (Citrix; the monitor should use SNIP!).<\/li>\n<li>The StoreFront Monitor service must first be enabled on port 80\/443! I use port 80 because the data isn't sensitive and it only shows whether Windows services are running. Plus, this helps me avoid potential certificate issues.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><b>PowerShell with Administrative Privileges\u00a0<\/b>on the StoreFront server. The following lines can be used as a PowerShell script:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><code><span style=\"line-height: 1.3em;\"># Import StoreFront API Modules<br \/><\/span><span class=\"s2\" style=\"line-height: 1.3em;\">&amp;<\/span><span class=\"s3\" style=\"line-height: 1.3em;\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"line-height: 1.3em;\">\"<\/span><span class=\"s4\" style=\"line-height: 1.3em;\">$Env:PROGRAMFILES<\/span><span style=\"line-height: 1.3em;\">\"\\Citrix\\Receiver StoreFront\\Scripts\\ImportModules.ps1\"<br \/><\/span><span class=\"s4\" style=\"line-height: 1.3em;\">$ServiceURL<\/span><span class=\"s3\" style=\"line-height: 1.3em;\">\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"s2\" style=\"line-height: 1.3em;\">=<\/span><span class=\"s3\" style=\"line-height: 1.3em;\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"line-height: 1.3em;\">\"<b>http:\/\/localhost:80<\/b>\/StorefrontMonitor\"<br \/><\/span><span style=\"line-height: 1.3em;\">Remove-DSServiceMonitorFeature<br \/><\/span><span style=\"line-height: 1.3em;\">Install-DSServiceMonitorFeature<\/span><span class=\"s3\" style=\"line-height: 1.3em;\">\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"s5\" style=\"line-height: 1.3em;\">-ServiceUrl<\/span><span class=\"s3\" style=\"line-height: 1.3em;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/code><span class=\"s4\" style=\"line-height: 1.3em;\"><code>$ServiceUR<\/code><br \/><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span class=\"s4\" style=\"line-height: 1.3em;\"><span class=\"s4\" style=\"line-height: 1.3em;\">This first removes the default service on port 8000 and then creates a new one on port 80. The monitor service can then be checked using the following URL:<\/span><span style=\"line-height: 1.3em;\">\u00a0<\/span><b style=\"line-height: 1.3em;\">http:\/\/localhost\/StorefrontMonitor\/GetSFServicesStatus<\/b><br \/><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"s4\" style=\"line-height: 1.3em;\">\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0<\/span>3.
