The final section on the Citrix ADM Cloud service addresses this question, as well as how and where to obtain the data in the first place.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The additional feature <strong>Analytics<\/strong> ADM requires a license, but each Citrix Cloud ADM instance comes with two free licenses for Analytics, which covers two vServers within Netscaler. Therefore, Analytics must first be configured so that we can actually take advantage of the feature.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"label label-success\">Configure Cloud ADM<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>By default, licensing is set to <strong>Automatic<\/strong> set up, and anyone who has configured more than two vServers (gateway, load balancer, content switch) will quickly end up licensing the wrong vServers. Therefore, the first step should be to disable automatic licensing.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-1703\" style=\"display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;\" src=\"http:\/\/www.koetzingit.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/adm-auto-license.png\" width=\"492\" height=\"247\"  alt=\"Adm Auto License\"  title=\"Citrix Cloud ADM: Part 3 - Enable analytics and analyze data from the Cloud ADM service.\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.koetzingit.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/adm-auto-license.png 492w, https:\/\/www.koetzingit.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/adm-auto-license-300x151.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 492px) 100vw, 492px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>After that, vServers can be licensed specifically for Analytics. Gateway vServers are particularly well-suited for Analytics and thus for activating<strong> HDX Insight<\/strong> (ICA) and\/or <strong>Gateway Insight<\/strong>, but ultimately, any vServer can be configured for Analytics. After enabling Analytics for the vServer, the necessary configuration is transferred to the Netscalers via the ADM agent. This page lists all users as well as all relevant technical details about each individual user. This allows you to quickly <strong>high latency<\/strong> and\/or a <strong>high bandwidth usage<\/strong> can be identified for individual virtual channels. Once configured, these messages are stored in the cloud and can be searched using filters. It would be great if Citrix would also introduce rules here that trigger notifications, for example, when <strong>incorrect registration<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-1708\" style=\"display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;\" src=\"http:\/\/www.koetzingit.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/adm-syslog_login-failed.png\" width=\"981\" height=\"546\"  alt=\"Adm Syslog Login Failed\"  title=\"Citrix Cloud ADM: Part 3 - Enable analytics and analyze data from the Cloud ADM service.\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.koetzingit.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/adm-syslog_login-failed.png 981w, https:\/\/www.koetzingit.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/adm-syslog_login-failed-300x167.png 300w, https:\/\/www.koetzingit.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/adm-syslog_login-failed-768x427.png 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 981px) 100vw, 981px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>If the usernames do not match the schema in Active Directory or if the users are unknown, then obviously a <strong>Attempted attack, e.g., brute force <\/strong>or something similar.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"label label-success\">Summary<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>The Analytics feature offers significant value, and the<strong> two free licenses<\/strong> should therefore be used effectively. We particularly recommend Gateway vServers with HDX-Insight, as this can be very helpful when troubleshooting. Notifications should be enabled so that you also receive alerts regarding <strong>expiring certificates and necessary security updates<\/strong> can be sent. Additionally, Syslog can be enabled if a Syslog server is not already being used on-premises.<\/p>\n<p>All of this is available <strong>free of charge<\/strong>, which is why the Citrix Cloud ADM
